Overview

This three night, four day golfing tour provides visitors with an amazing golfing experience along with a chance to view the rich culture embedded in the Kathmandu Valley. We will gold at Gokarna Forest Resort Golf Course – a finest world class course situates just 16 kilometers away from the bustling city of Kathmandu, designed by acclaimed landscape architect David Kidd. It is Nepal’s only international standard 18-hole course. Spread over 140 acres, this 6,755 yards par 72 course challenges the best that golf has to offer. Later we explore the cultural treasures of Kathmandu, capital and largest city of Nepal-immerse yourself in the vibrant array of bustling streets, incomparable historic buildings and heritage, exquisite temples and religious sites. We then visit the famed Bhaktapur, a 9th century city shaped like a giant conch shell, known for its spectacular medieval architecture. The tour then takes you to Nargarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu on the valley rim. Nagarkot offers superb views of the Indrawati Valley framed by expansive ranges of snowy peaks on the horizon.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

You will be greeted by our representative at the arrival area and provided hotel transfer. Free time until dinner. In the evening, we will visit a traditional Nepalese restaurant for a fine meal accompanied by folk music and a cultural program.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Golfing & Sightseeing Tour

Start the day with glorious golfing experience at one of the Asia’s finest golf course, Gokarna Forest Golf Resort. After lunch prepare yourself for sightseeing tour that includes the holiest Hindu pilgrimage site of Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudddhanath, one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world and a major pilgrimage destination.

Day 03: Day 09: Golfing & drive to Nagarkot

After challenging with your golfing skills and a much deserved lunch afterwards, we will travel by private vehicle to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site with an extraordinary array of temples, statues and artwork with exquisite carvings followed by a drive to the famed hill station of Nagarkot, just in time to savor the spectacular sunset panorama.

Day 04: Final Departure

We hope that you enjoyed your journey! Our representative will transfer you to the airport approximately 3 hours ahead of your flight time. We bid you farewell and hope to see you in Nepal again, soon. Or get ready for the next adventure.
